Welcome to UMD! Families that registered for Family Weekend may pick up wristbands, event tickets (excluding football tickets), parking permits for Friday & Sunday, campus maps, and additional Family Weekend materials.
IMPORTANT: Due to the football game, parking on campus is limited to those who purchase a game day parking permit. Visitor parking in Union Lane Garage and other spaces on campus will not be available. Yes, you read that right! It's a 0.5K "run" for the rest of us. Participants will be led through some fun stretching exercises before meandering the 500-yard distance from McKeldin Library to the Miller Administration building. After enjoying 10 minutes of, um, "running" glory, the first 100 finishers will receive festive socks and everyone will receive a braggadocios bumper sticker. We'll even have a coffee and donut hydration station (hooray!) midway through the "race." So run, walk, skip, jump, or Prancercise... we don't care. It's all downhill from here!
